Hydro Tasmania has a number of assets which are within the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. We have implemented appropriate land management practices to ensure our activities prevent degradation of this unique environment.
Hydro Tasmania periodically reviews the way we manage risks associated with our activities in the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area (WHA). We comply with laws and regulations and we track our actions through a geographic information system (GIS) database.
We have procedures and guidelines to ensure we meet legal requirements for the WHA.
